Hongkongers in Britain
HKB is paying attention to the statements made by a Chinese ex-pat group in the UK, alleging that legal rally attendees are “anti Hong Kong disruptors”. In addition to inciting hatred, it also tramples on the British government’s historical commitment to defend Hong Kong’s freedom and even ignores the value of democracy in where they’re living.
In addition to reporting to the police about the rally in advance, the policemen and police cars were on the scene to guard, and under their supervision and guidance to ensure that the rally attendees comply with the rules to contain the pandemic. The rally was in good order, no violations or enforcement actions.
The relevant group used the slander of “anti Hong Kong disruptors” and called on the masses to take “response actions”, posing a potential threat to the safety and freedom of the people in the rally. We urge Hongkongers in Britain to be aware of safety, report suspicious and dangerous situations to the police and HKB. HKB will keep reporting to the Parliament, the government, the police, media and security agencies in due course.
